Description
Westons Cider has been producing traditional English cider in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle since 1880. It’s run by the fourth generation of the Westons family and is one of the largest independent cider makers in the UK today. It continues to use traditional methods in the cider making process, passed down through the generations, such as maturing the cider for long periods in oak vats for a great depth of flavour. However, this traditon does mean it’s a stick-in-the-mud. This Vintage Cider is crafted only from apples grown in a single year’s harvest in the three counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire & Worcestershire. The cider is then slowly matured in aged oak vats to deliver a smooth and rounded cider, with exceptional character.
