Description
Though the Grassa family has been producing Armagnac at Domaine Tariquet since 1912, the history of the lauded estate stretches back much further. In fact, records show that the first bottles were produced here all the way back in 1683. And this classic spirit is still made in a traditional way that nods to these roots. Eaux-de-vie, distilled from white grapes grown in the family’s own vineyards, is aged in toasted barrels for up to 15 years. The resulting Armagnac has powerful aromas of dried fruit, quince and coconut and flavours of prune, almond and leather.
