Description
Sancerre Rouge may be lesser known than its white counterpart, but it’s some finest Pinot Noir produced in France. This is made by one of the region’s most respected names and 11th generation winemakers, Henri Bourgeois. It’s made from 40-year-old vines and aged in oak for up to eight months. The result is a refined Pinot with notes of morello cherry, violet and oak spice. This is sure to please adventurous red Burgundy fans. Serve with a hearty meat casserole.
