Revered winemaker Stefano Chioccioli is the brains behind one of our most-loved reds, the Nero Oro. But if you spend just a little extra, you can unlock Stefano’s full arsenal of winemaking tricks with the Nero Oro Riserva. Taken from his best vineyards and aged for 18 months in oak, it’s closer to Amarone (the acclaimed Italian red famed for its depth of flavour) than its island home would suggest. Expect bold damson, blackcurrant and dried fig notes, with a rich oak spice that makes a wonderful pairing with a Sunday roast.
