Description
Laroche is one of the biggest names in Chablis. They’ve produced this dry, crisp style of Chardonnay there since 1850 and have widened their scope, creating their signature expression of the grape in the Languedoc. Head winemaker is Géraud Blanc, who has 15 years of experience at Laroche. This is a far cry from the big, oaky Chardonnays that you find in other parts of France. It’s completely unoaked to create a crisp, fruity style that’s similar to what you’ll find in Chablis. It has a high level of acidity that makes it great with a goat’s cheese salad.
