Description
Orange wine may seem like a trendy topic, but it’s actually an ancient way of making wine, first practiced in Georgia over 4, 500 years ago. This is made by the famous Gerard Bertrand and is a fitting tribute to this heritage. It’s a blend of seven classic French white grapes, including Chardonnay, Marsanne and Viognier. The wine is left in contact with the grape skins to achieve a great complexity and, of course, the striking orange colour. Expect layers of peach, pear, flowers, lemon and ginger. Match its elegant structure with Vietnamese noodles.
