Description
Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest maisons in Burgundy, but it wasn’t until the Doudet family took the reins that the historic winery flourished. Today, they can be found in some of the region’s most coveted areas. The vines behind this are mainly from Meursault. But Doudet-Naudin intentionally declassified it to allow for blending with grapes from other Burgundian villages. So the wine doesn’t command the expected high price tag. It’s real value for money. Expect fresh notes of flowers, vanilla and apple, which will become more ripe and rich with age. This is the perfect wine for fish, so serve it with buttery Dover sole.
