Description
Charles and Ruth Simpson quit their high-flying corporate jobs in 2002 to chase the winemaking dream. They took a risk in buying a number of hectares in a lesser-known area of the south of France. They’ve reaped the rewards since, winning a number of awards and receiving acclaim from some of the most respected wine critics. Grenache-Syrah-Mourvèdre blends (known as GSM) have worldwide acclaim. This one is made purely from grapes grown on the Domaine Saint Rosé estate. Grenache brings body and red-fruit flavours. Syrah (also known as Shiraz) adds tannin and peppery hints. Mourvèdre brings complexity in the form of black-fruit notes. Try it with a tomato-based pasta or red meats.
