Gérald Vallée took the reins at Domaine de la Cotelleraie in 1994. He’s since made it one of the most highly regarded estates in the region. It’s all down to meticulous grape selection, painstaking vineyard management and organic farming. When you taste this, you’ll see why he goes to such lengths. It’s a benchmark Loire Cabernet Franc. It’s juicy and fresh, with notes of red fruits and violets, ripe tannins and a fresh finish. Pair it with peppery charcuterie.
