Description
Uncork a ‘White Burgundy’ and you’re likely drinking Bourgogne Blanc. It’s the gold-standard for gently oaked Chardonnay the world over, so it’s no wonder it’s also one of our most popular wine styles. It was a no-brainer to add it to our Definition range. Burgundy can be a complex region to get your head around. White Burgundy is a catch-all term for anything which isn’t from a designated area – it’s where to look for value and quality. Full of citrus, ripe apple and stone fruit flavours. It’s zingy but also creamy from being aged in barrels for eight months. Perfect when matched with a buttery roast chicken.
