Description
Markus Huber was once named the Best White Wine Producer in the world – and he knows Grüner Veltliner inside out. He’s got vines planted throughout the Danube valley, where the massive difference between day and night temperatures helps ripen really intense aromatics. But these conditions also maintain that crispness Grüner is known for. So he was the first name that came to mind when we were searching for the Definition of Grüner Veltliner. We worked with him to pick grapes from twenty-year-old vines, ripe with flavours of citrus, peach and white pepper. Zesty. Aromatic. Spicy. It’s textbook Grüner – ideal with asparagus.
