Description
This is the second wine of thousand-year-old Margaux estate Château du Tertre. The estate was recognised as a Classed Growth in the famous 1855 Bordeaux classification but really hit its stride in the past 20 years. This is made on the same vineyards as the Grand Vin but from younger vines, ensuring a fruity, vibrant and bright style that’s raring to be tasted now. It’s full-bodied and ripe, with flavours of blackcurrant, red cherry, spice and dried herbs. It has a snappy acidity that’s great with cheese.
