Description
There’s history everywhere at Chateau d’Issan. It began in the 12th century, and its wines were reportedly served at the wedding of Henry II in 1152. They’re still tasting good enough for a king nearly 900 years later. Located in Margaux, one of the most recognised wine regions in the world, the chateau produces reds with exceptional finesse. This medium-bodied blend is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and aged in oak before bottling. It tastes great now but will continue to age well for 5-10 years. Tobacco, cedar and chocolate flavours, plus fine tannins, make it a superb match for beef, lamb or game.
