Description
Bodegas Riojanas is one of Rioja’s great names. It began in 1890 and was instrumental in introducing Rioja to the world. Today, it remains fiercely traditional, and it’s because of these methods that its red wines age so well. This Gran Reserva was made from hand-picked grapes and aged for 36 months in oak and 20 years in the bottle in a temperature-controlled cellar. As a result, it’s perfect for drinking now, boasting smooth, supple tannins and gloriously indulgent flavours of dried red fruit, cocoa, maple and brown sugar. Try it with pigeon or pheasant. It really works.
