Description
You might associate Riesling with the cooler climates and lofty slopes of Germany and Austria. And you’d be forgiven for thinking that Washington is far too warm for this grape. After all, the fresh, citrusy acidity that comes from milder climates is what makes it all the more refreshing and fantastic with lightly spiced dishes. Luckily, this wine is made on the edge of the cooling Columbia Basin, a stone’s throw from the foothills of the Cascade mountain range. These are the perfect conditions for this off-dry style of Riesling. You’ll taste the benefits in notes of lemon, white flowers and honey.
