Description
The grapes for Alamos are grown at an altitude of between 3, 000 and 5, 000 feet where the temperature variation allows the grapes to grow slowly developing more flavour. Hand harvesting and sorting ensure only the best grapes are used to make the wine. There is lots of blackcurrant and bramble fruit flavours in the concentrated and silky wine. The purity of fruit is enhanced by a slight woody note on the finish. This will be great with grilled meats flavoured with herbs.
