Description
Bodegas Riojanas is one of Rioja’s great names. It began in 1890 and was instrumental in introducing Rioja to the world. Today, it remains fiercely traditional, and it’s because of these methods that its red wines age so well. This Gran Reserva was made from hand-picked grapes and aged for 36 months in oak and 17 years in the bottle in a temperature-controlled cellar. As a result, it’s gloriously mature, boasting smooth, supple tannins and flavours of red cherry, coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Try it with Riojan cod and red peppers.
