Description
Cantina Negrar is a cooperative winery founded in 1933 by six Valpolicella locals with an aim: to scrap complexity and bring the bottles straight to the customers. Interestingly, it was the accidental birthplace of Amarone, one of Italy’s most iconic fine wines. This is a great-value introduction to their fantastic red wines. It’s a smooth, ripe blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, with flavours of red cherries and sweet spices. Try it with antipasti.
