Description
Domaine du Tix is bathed in sunlight almost year round, and it sits 350 metres above sea level. This abundant sunshine is perfect for grape ripening, and the altitude brings cool nights. This means these Viognier grapes maintain their balancing acidity. This is made from three parcels of Viognier grapes. The first is harvested early, in August, to bring punchy flavours, and the second creates a rounder, creamier character. The third is made from almost over-ripe grapes harvested late in the season. They bring a velvety texture that makes it deliciously rich and great with lightly spiced dishes, like sushi.
