Description
J. M Aujoux began in 1938 and have forged their expertise over the decades since. They found great success in some of France’s top regions, including Beaujolais and Burgundy, before moving on to this fascinating region. 70% of this blend is Syrah, so you can expect high tannins and a full body. Grenache and Mourvèdre again bring alcohol and black-fruit flavours respectively. The lofty vineyard heights retain the acidity and bring a longer ripening period, so it’s powerful yet fresh and complex. Try it with herb-crusted red meats, like lamb chops.
