Description
Château Timberlay can trace its history back to the 14th century. It was destroyed in the French revolution but was rebuilt with a fierce loyalty to its traditional methods. The winemaking team pick the grapes by hand and carry out a strict grape selection process. As a result, the estate boasts prestigious Bordeaux Supérieur status. This is a Merlot-dominated claret, with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. In comparison to the Cabernet-heavy blends elsewhere in Bordeaux, this means it’s remarkably smooth, rounded and supple. Try it with roast beef.
