There are special whiskies, and then there’s The Macallan. The world-famous brand has come a long way since it was founded by a Speyside farmer and teacher in 1824. It was one of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed and is now the producer of some of the world’s most iconic whiskies. The quality of the casks is a big factor, and a dedicated Master of Wood ensures each one is sourced, crafted and toasted to perfection. This whisky is matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, with a beautiful result. Expect a full body and generous flavours of oak, ginger and raisin. Enjoy it on the rocks.
