Description
The first mention of Castello di Meleto dates back to the 12th century. But it wasn’t until the 1960s that the castle became the home of Viticola Toscana, a company that champions the winemaking traditions of the Chianti subzone of Giole. And this wine is classic Tuscany: a Chianti made from Sangiovese grapes in the ‘Classico’ foothills. Expect complex notes of cherries, flowers and vanilla. Serve now with leg of lamb or cellar for another five years.
