This is a remarkable example of why Soave Classico is a whole different sip from what you’ll find from the Soave crowding supermarket shelves. The Pieropan estate was the first to ever make single-vineyard Soave. Today, they make this organic expression on the hillsides in the heart of the Soave Classico area. Left on texture-building lees, it’s fresh and expressive with notes of white flowers, almond and marzipan, a fresh, clean acidity and hints of pastry on the finish.
