James Suckling gave Château Cap de Faugères’ 2011 vintage 91 points and called it “a fruity, velvety wine”. Its soils are near identical to those over in Saint-Émilion, and this usually sells for £17+ in the UK. Taste the brilliance in notes of black fruit, cherry, plum, sweet spices and espresso.
