Description
Twenty-one years ago, two men got chatting at a mutual friend’s engagement party. That night, Two Hands was born. Until that point, most Australian wine was sold under regional labels – Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz wanted to change that. Their idea was to make the best possible Shiraz-based wines from the most prized growing regions in Australia. It put all the focus on the fruit, highlighting the differences between the parcels. Angel’s Share was one of their very first wines. This is a serious wine, made with choice grapes from Mc Laren Vale, just outside Adelaide. It’s incredibly bold and heady – a full on Aussie Shiraz, full of jammy fruit and flavours of cola, coffee and spice. Fresh with fine tannins, it has a lovely silky texture. Ideal with red meat.
