Description
There’s nothing that gets your tastebuds tingling like an insider-secret bargain. The bottle is simply labelled as ‘Bourgogne Chardonnay’, but it’s a blend of seriously high-quality fruit from mature vines in prime vineyards in the Mâcon, Côte Chalonnaise and the Côte d’Or. Unusually, it’s not oaked at all. This means its incredible cirtussy freshness is front and centre. It’s a really delicious wine. Apple. Blossom. Marzipan. A long, almondy, slightly creamy finish. It tastes far more expensive than it is, which is always a winner in our book. It’s guaranteed to transform a humble chicken salad from simple to spectacular.
